FibArm Lamel HS 14/100
Carbon Lamel - Factory-impregnated carbon fiber ideal for reinforcing long-span structures. Thanks to a very high tensile strength and a rigid configuration of the tape, it allows solving many problems:

  • Restoration and increase in the bearing capacity of bridges, overpasses, as well as other span structures of residential, industrial and public buildings.
  • Changing the design of buildings by means of transfer or removal of supports and walls.
  • Increasing structural rigidity, compensating for deficiencies, as well as seismic retrofit.
  • Increased operational loads of buildings for various purposes

The technology of external reinforcement using carbon tapes will allow to solve a whole range of problems associated with the loss of the structural bearing capacity, thereby not only restoring existing deficiencies, but also increasing the bearing capacity in the shortest possible time and with significantly lower labor costs in comparison with traditional reinforcement methods.

Manufacturing technique:

FibArm fabrics are made from carbon fibers obtained in an inert environment by high temperature exposure to organic fibers.

Warranty period of storage:

Guaranteed shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture. After the warranty period, it is necessary to conduct repeated tests for compliance with the requirements of the technical conditions, after which the fiber can be used.

Surface must be free from defects, damages, bulges, cavities. All dust must be removed before glue application. Surface must be moisture-free during the work. Put FibArm Lamel carbon fibre Lamels on a clean table. Clean the surface with acetone or any other suitable solvent. Make a break after surface treatment for at least 30 minutes for complete solvent evaporation. Apply at least 1 mm thick layer of thoroughly mixed FibArm Resin Laminate+ on the treated surface. Apply at least 1.5 mm layer of the glue on the Lamel. Let it dwell for better adhesion. Put the carbon fibre Lamels on the treated and glued element to be reinforced until the epoxy adhesive curing time expires. Press the Lamel properly with a rubber roller to squeeze excessive glue. Seal the Lamel edges and remove excessive glue.

Storage and transportation:

Storage and transportation of fiber must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25388. It is also necessary to store carbon fabrics in the package, not exceeding a humidity of 85% and a temperature between +5 °С and +25 °С
