Additional reinforcement.
Strengthening reinforced concrete using carbon anchors

The problem of reinforcement deficit is widespread. The lack of vertical rebars leads to the forcing of the floor slab. The reason may be errors both in the design and in the process of performing work.
The absence or deficit of vertical reinforcement from punching shear is solved by the following actions:
  • Locating existing rebars
  • Drilling openings at an angle of 45 degrees (the number and distance are calculated)
  • Dust removal of holes
  • Filling the openings with 50% epoxy component FibArm Resin.
  • Taking a 20-30 minutes break.
    • Insertion of carbon anchors FibArm Anchor. ·
    • Taking a 30-40 minutes break.
    • Caulking the opening.
As a result of strengthening the slab or coating, we obtain the following result:
        • Strengthening due to an increase in the pyramid of punching shear more than 2 times
        • Reducing stress in the span and upper support areas of the slab
        • No use of metalwork and welding
        • No increase in size of the structure
